Frequently Asked Questions

What ages can play in your spring programs?

We offer the following divisions for spring baseball (Please reference the Little League Age Chart for placement):

- Tee Ball Division (League age 4 / Instructional / Hitting from tee)
- Peewee Division (League age 5 to 6 / Instructional / Coach pitch)
- Rookie Division (League age 7 to 8 / Machine pitch)
- Minor Division (League age 9 to 10 / Player pitch)
- Major Division (League 11 to 12 / Player pitch)

Do you offer youth softball?

No, but all TWLL divisions are co-ed.

Where are spring games played?

Most games are played at the five fields located at Scamahorn Park. Some games are played at Scott Park.

When are spring games played?

Most spring games are played on Saturdays. Rookie, Minor, and Major divisions will have scheduled games through the week as well.

Are uniforms provided?

Team hats and jerseys are included in the registration fee and provided by the league.

Players must provide their own:
- Gray baseball pants (required)
- Baseball socks (optional)
- Baseball cleats (optional for Tee Ball)
- Baseball belt (optional for Tee Ball and Peewee)

What equipment is required?

Each player requires their own fielding glove. Coaches will have extra bats and batting helmets for players to use, as well as catcher gear. TWLL strongly encourages players to have their own batting helmet and bat.

Bats used in TWLL require the USABat certification.

Tee Ball and Peewee divisions use soft core tee balls, so a USABAT tee ball bat is required. Rookie, Minor, and Major divisions require USABat baseball bats.

Dick’s Sporting Goods provides helpful buying guides for purchasing the right bat and glove for your player.

Where can I find more information on rules for each division?

As an official Little League International affiliate, we follow Little League Rules, Regulations, and Policies. However, we have posted Gameplay Guidelines for each of our divisions found here.
